yeah im pretty sure since it worked for me and I use 32 bit a lot on my other games. I don't think it should be a problem for ur computer

The reason that the game is crashing is because you probably downloaded the wrong version. If you downloaded the 32 bit, it will crash all the time. But if you download the 64 bit version then it will most likely work without crashing or with some crashing. If that doesn't work the I cant help you.
